1.Mark the Installation Spots:Steps 1 & 2
Hold the blind or measure to decide whether you are using an Inside Mount or Outside Mount. Use a pencil to mark where the L-clamps will be positioned, ensuring the clamp does not overlap or interfere with the pulley mechanism.
- Verification: Check that your pencil marks align correctly with the mounting locations and leave clear clearance for the pulleys.
2.Drill Holes:Step 3
Using a power drill, drill holes into the wall or window frame at the pencil marks you just made.
- Verification: Ensure the holes are deep and wide enough to fit your wall plugs securely.
3.Insert Wall Plugs:Step 4
Push the wall plugs firmly into each of the newly drilled holes until they are flush with the surface.
- Verification: Tug gently on the plugs to confirm they are firmly seated and will not slip out.
4.Fix the L-Clamps:Step 5
Place the L-clamps over the wall plugs and secure them tightly by driving screws through the clamps into the plugs using your screwdriver or drill.
- Verification: Try moving the clamps by hand to make sure they are completely stable and tight against the mounting surface.
5.Attach the Blind:Steps 6 & 7
Clip or attach the blind’s channel to the installed L-clamps. Once positioned, tighten the screws/mechanisms on the L-clamp to lock the blind securely into the channel.
- Verification: Gently pull down on the blind to ensure it is securely locked in place and operates smoothly.
